I absolutely love this laptop. I went to HP's site and configured one just like this, or at least as close as I could get and would have paid a lot more for it. I had an older HP (dv6z-1100) and it was just time for an upgrade considering my major, which requires more heavy software. I was not looking forward to installing everything all over again... the 8GB RAM made all of my installs take place in a matter of 20 minutes... (Adobe Master Collection, Microsoft Office Pro and a few Autodesk products as well as the standard printers, tablets, cameras, etc.) I love it, and the fingerprint reader is very convenient as well. I am still dabbling with the 32GB mSSD but the 1TB drive makes you not really notice. The 17.3-inch diagonal Full HD Anti-glare LED-backlit Display (1920 x 1080) is just fabulous. Even YouTube looks a lot better. It's taking some time to get used to the keyboard, island keyboard I believe, but that's because my other laptop's screen was smaller, so that means less...
